Solly initiated and managed a project to establish a local crafts market in the South Luangwa National Park working on product development, organisational structure and production techniques with local crafters, funded by USAID/MATEP (Market Access Trade Enabling Project). He continued to support Tribal Textiles, a privately owned company and the largest employer in the area, in range development and production efficiencies. He also conducted a general diagnostic audit of the entire Livingstone Craft Sector for the Zambian Government. Livingstone is the premier tourist destination in Zambia.
